1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:

Participant

A Participant refers to any person taking part in the workshop activities.

​

Accompanying Person

An Accompanying Person refers to any teacher, parent, guardian, principal, volunteer, helper, photographer, translator, organiser, support staff, or any other person entering Yili Farm's premises as part of the booking, regardless of whether they participate in the workshop activities.

​

Booking Numbers

Booking Numbers refer to the total number of Participants and Accompanying Persons reflected in the signed quotation.

​

2. Booking & Confirmation

All workshop enquiries must be submitted through our official booking form, email or phone.

​

Booking Confirmation

When Yili Farm indicates that a workshop date is available, the date is not reserved.

​

All available dates are shared with other schools and organisations.

​

A booking will only be officially confirmed after:

• Yili Farm has received the signed quotation;

• the required payment (where applicable) has been received and verified; and

• Yili Farm has issued a Booking Confirmation Email.

• ​

The issuance of a quotation and/or invoice does not constitute confirmation of a booking.

​

Booking Deposit

A 50% deposit is required to confirm all bookings, unless otherwise agreed by Yili Farm in writing.

​

This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

​

3. Booking Numbers & Billing

The Booking Numbers reflected in the signed quotation shall be treated as the confirmed booking numbers.

​

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all booking details, including Participant numbers and Accompanying Person numbers, are accurate before signing the quotation.

​

The confirmed Booking Numbers will be used for:

• workshop planning;

• manpower allocation;

• preparation of workshop materials and activity kits; and

• billing.

​

Any person entering Yili Farm's premises as part of the booking must be declared to Yili Farm and reflected in the signed quotation unless otherwise agreed by Yili Farm in writing.

​

Any increase in Booking Numbers is subject to Yili Farm's approval, operational capacity, material availability and facilitator availability.

​

Where approved, additional Participants and/or Accompanying Persons will be charged at the applicable rates stated in the quotation.

​

Any reduction in Booking Numbers after the quotation has been signed will not result in a revision of the quoted amount.

​

Billing will remain based on the confirmed Booking Numbers stated in the signed quotation.

​

The Client warrants that it has obtained all necessary approvals and permissions from parents, guardians or the relevant organisation for Participants to attend the workshop and participate in the activities.

​

4. Payment & Fees

Workshop fees must be paid in accordance with the payment terms stated in the quotation or invoice, unless otherwise agreed by Yili Farm in writing.

​

Accepted payment methods:

• Bank Transfer

• PayNow (UEN: 199606124G)

​

All prices are listed in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and exclude GST unless otherwise stated.

​

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

The 50% booking deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

​

The booking deposit cannot be applied towards any future booking unless otherwise agreed by Yili Farm in writing.

​

The remaining balance (if already paid) will be refunded according to the following schedule:

• 30 days or more before the workshop date – 100% of the remaining balance refunded.

• 15–29 days before the workshop date – 50% of the remaining balance refunded.

• Less than 14 days before the workshop date – No refund.

​

Where a booking has been rescheduled, the cancellation notice period shall be calculated based on the final confirmed workshop date.

​

Example (Workshop Fee = $100)

Deposit: $50 (non-refundable and non-transferable)

Remaining Balance: $50

• Cancel 30 days or more before → $50 refunded.

• Cancel 15–29 days before → $25 refunded.

• Cancel Less than 14 days before → No refund.

​

6. Rescheduling

All requests to reschedule must be submitted in writing and are subject to Yili Farm's approval and availability.

​

The following rescheduling fees apply:

• 30 days or more before the workshop date – No rescheduling fee.

• 15–29 days before the workshop date – 10% of the signed quotation amount.

• Less than 14 days before the workshop date – 25% of the signed quotation amount.

​

Each booking may only be rescheduled once.

​

Any subsequent request to reschedule will be treated as a cancellation of the existing booking. The Cancellation & Refund Policy shall apply.

​

Should the client wish to proceed with another workshop date, a new booking will be required, subject to Yili Farm's prevailing booking procedures, Terms & Conditions, and availability.

​

A new booking will require a new quotation and, where applicable, a new 50% non-refundable and non-transferable deposit.

​

7. Weather Policy

In the event of heavy rain or adverse weather conditions, the guided farm tour may be shortened, modified or cancelled for safety reasons.

​

The workshop activity will proceed under a sheltered area where possible.

​

No refunds will be provided for any activities affected by weather conditions.

​

8. Participant Responsibilities

Participants and Accompanying Persons are expected to:

• arrive punctually;

• follow all instructions given by Yili Farm staff; 

• remain within designated workshop areas unless otherwise instructed by Yili Farm staff; and

• wear suitable attire.

​

Late arrivals may result in a shortened workshop duration. Workshops will end at the scheduled time regardless of the actual arrival time.

​

Covered shoes are strongly recommended.

​

We also recommend bringing:

• a hat;

• sunscreen;

• insect repellent; and

• drinking water.

​

9. Safety & Liability

Participation in farm workshops involves outdoor activities and certain inherent risks, including uneven terrain, weather exposure, and the handling of farming equipment.

​

Yili Farm will take all reasonable precautions to provide a safe environment and appropriate guidance throughout the programme.

​

Teachers, parents, guardians, and organisers remain responsible for supervising children under their care at all times.

​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yili Farm shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from:

• failure to comply with safety instructions;

• inadequate supervision by accompanying adults; or

• circumstances beyond Yili Farm's reasonable control.

​

10. Photography & Media

Yili Farm may take photographs and videos during workshops for marketing and promotional purposes.

​

If you or your organisation do not wish to appear in such media, please inform Yili Farm in writing before the workshop date.

​

While reasonable efforts will be made to exclude such individuals, Yili Farm cannot guarantee that they will not appear incidentally in background images, group photographs or videos.

​

11. Conduct & Removal

Yili Farm reserves the right to refuse entry to, or require the removal of, any Participant or Accompanying Person whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, inappropriate, or may pose a risk to other visitors, staff, animals, property or the safe operation of the workshop.

​

No refund, compensation or replacement workshop shall be provided in such circumstances.

​

12. Force Majeure

Yili Farm shall not be held responsible for delays, cancellations or changes arising from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, government regulations, public health measures, natural disasters or emergencies.

​

13. Agreement

By signing the quotation or proceeding with a workshop booking, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

​

Yili Farm reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

​

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

​

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

​​

Yili Farm reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version in effect on the date of the Booking Confirmation Email shall apply to the booking unless otherwise agreed in writing by Yili Farm.
